Olive Young sale calendar

Olive Young runs four big week-long sales a year, around the start of March, June, September and December. In Korea they are called 올영세일 ("Olive Young Sale"). If your trip can overlap one, you'll usually pay less than the everyday prices on this site.

Each sale runs for seven days, and it often starts on the last day or two of the month before. Olive Young announces the exact dates only a few days ahead, so treat any date before the announcement as an estimate.

The next one

Expected around late November to early December 2026. Last year's December sale ran from 30 November to 6 December. We'll put the confirmed dates here as soon as Olive Young announces them.

What gets cheaper

During the sale, thousands of products are discounted in stores and online at the same time. Bestsellers often come as bigger "기획" sets, usually a full size plus a refill or mini at the normal price. The tourist tax refund still applies on top, as long as one receipt is ₩15,000 or more.

Between the big sales, Olive Young also runs smaller monthly member deals and brand promotions. Those mostly favour members using the Korean app, so they matter less to visitors.

How to shop a sale week as a visitor

Go early in the day, early in the week. The first days and evenings are the busiest, and popular sets sell out in the big tourist stores.
Put everything on one receipt. One receipt over ₩15,000 gets the instant tax refund at the counter with your passport. See the tax refund guide.
Compare the set, not the sticker. A set with a bonus mini can be a better deal than the plain discount. Our gift set checker works it out per ml.
